understanding people who draw
since i was creating an edtech product to help people get better at drawing, i needed to figure out why people pursue drawing in the first place.
i did this through one-on-one user interviews with five people who were currently or previously interested in drawing.
so, how might we make drawing *personalized* for users' specific educational needs?
OK, how might we make learning to draw a personalized experience?...
why not document users’ progress visually, like a fitness tracking app?
but how would we get their data? self-entry? that wouldn’t be very accurate...
what if their drawings could be analyzed with AI (helpful AND trendy)!

low-fidelity sketching helped me explore interaction design, while mid-fidelity helped me think through the visuals and content.
